The New Mexico Building and Education Congress (NMBEC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is a result of the Associated General Contractors restructuring and aligning their former Education Foundation (CAP) to meet the future workforce needs of the commercial construction profession and investing in poverty reduction through school reform in New Mexico. School reform in this context represents the intersection between the authentic market-driven needs of the industry with societal goals of poverty reduction.
